Many people mistake sharks for horrible sea monsters, scary creatures that attack from the depths of the ocean. I have always questioned why people think of sharks this way. I’ve seen many movies and videos that depict sharks as merciless, bloodthirsty killers. These portrayals often turn rare incidents into fiction, reinforcing negative stereotypes.
One of the most influential examples of this is the movie «Jaws,» released in 1975. This film painted sharks as human-eating machines, causing the species to be widely hated. We need to think twice before judging and forming opinions about someone or something without truly understanding it.
